CNNmoney reports on more upcoming palmOne accessories. There's the 1.3MP SDIO camera we already told you about, which CNNmoney confirms should cost approximately $100. There's also a foldable Infrared keyboard which looks like it could be as small as the impressive Stowaway XT. This, too, appears to be priced well at about $70. Finally, there's a $20 multi-function stylus which acts as pen, laser pointer, and flashlight. Don't expect that to fit into the standard stylus silo.
I'm pretty impressed with how palmOne is pricing these accessories. I'm still not sure how useful these SDIO cameras are, considering they don't have a flash and take up a palmOne PDA's only SD slot, but at $100 it could prove fairly popular. The keyboard is the more impressive accessory. I'm still waiting for someone to develop a Bluetooth keyboard, but I'm not sure how likely it will be for us to see one come out branded by palmOne. Right now, one of their biggest competitive advantages is the large number of accessories available that use the palmOne Universal Connector.
Update
Apparently palmOne just put out some official press material on these products, though it's difficult to get at it. Rather than being posted directly to palmOne's site, it's on thenewsmarket.
